This unique blanket collection, a collaboration between the Annala weaving mill and designer Maarit Pöör, honors the legacy of Nordic architecture. Each piece represents the pinnacle of Finnish textile craftsmanship, combining powerful design with enduring beauty.
"Our first home was in Helsinki's Old Town, right next to the Annala garden," Maarit explains. "It was a dream. The view from the window lived and changed with the seasons: a white blanket of snow in winter, awakening to life in the spring, radiant flowers in the summer, and a burst of color in the autumn. The two sides of the wool blanket reflect these different seasons."
"After moving to Kadriorg in Estonia, I was deeply inspired by its magnificent park, especially the Swan Pond," Maarit adds. "This wool blanket is all about gardens, parks, and the peace of mind that these environments provide."
